DAS/WIFI

A DAS (Distributed Antenna System) provides the means to take the signal from a radio source and distribute it over a larger area. In large venues like sports stadiums, casinos, and multi-building campuses, DAS can provide service in areas that would otherwise be have a very poor signal (or no signal at all), or that would be uneconomical to cover.

As illustrated in the figure, DAS splits the transmitted power from one antenna to several, to provide better coverage over the same area with reduced total power and improved reliability.
